Race Checklist


The weeks are flying by and we will soon be in sunshine and laying on the sandy beaches of Miami. We are 3 weeks away from our first team race of the season. That means we only have 2 more hard weeks before we taper. Let's make the next two weeks really count. For those athletes that raced SoBe last year or before, it's good to review your times and think about where you can improve. Set new goals and use the next 3 weeks to visualize your goals. If you need help let me know. I am hear to walk you through this.

Now is the time to get your bike tuned up and race ready. Don't wait until the last minute. Get it done and don't stress. Review this race checklist. Make sure you have everything you need. Boom!

Race Checklist:

Transition Bag

Towel/Transition mat

Sunscreen (this should be put on the morning of the race before you leave the hotel)

Driver’s license

USAT membership card

Full Throttle Uniform

Swim:

Goggles (bring 2 pairs just in case)

Wetsuit

Body Glide

FYI: a swim cap will be provided at race packet pick up

Bike:

Water bottles

Helmet

Bike shoes

Sunglasses (optional)

Tire change kit

Run:

Race belt

Speed laces

Sneakers

Hat/Visor (optional)

Vaseline
